Lauren LaRusso, MSEd, LMHC, LPC is a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in extramarital affairs. She has helped countless individuals and couples process the unexpected and inalterable impact of infidelity on their lives. Lauren’s recent social media endeavor to bring a voice to the largely unspoken but widely experienced impact of infidelity has amassed 30K followers cumulatively in just five months’ time. She is committed to helping people understand, and to changing the narrative around infidelity, to reduce the stigma of shame and facilitate compassionate growth for all involved.

Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Creative Writing from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lauren is licensed in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York, and she also works with clients on a consulting basis around the world.
