Local Events: Old Saybrook Youth & Family Essential Life Skills for Teens

old saybrook youth and family services essential life skills for teens

Old Saybrook Youth & Family Services is offering an amazing resource for teens. Each month, the series will provide a different class that gives youth the skills and information they need to be successful and confident in navigating life's big basics.

These courses are open to students all along the shoreline, so if you're located in a nearby town (Lyme, Westbrook, Clinton, Madison... etc.), you're encouraged to RSVP and reserve your spot!

The next two classes that are being offered this December are:

Budget Cooking on December 11th from 7-8:30pm at the Old Saybrook Stop & Shop at 655 Boston Post Road: this course helps teens master the art of safe and speedy microwave cooking.

Safety & Emergencies on December 18th from 7-8:30pm at Ashlawn Farm Coffee at 455 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook; because who doesn't want their teen to be able to respond to emergencies effectively and quickly!? And, it's certainly incentivizing to be able to use an actual fire extinguisher at this event...

Please see the PDF above for more information on these teen life skills courses, as well as additional information on Holiday Giving from Youth and Family Services.
